Which Country in War Thunder is the Best?
If you buy a War Thunder account for sale, you’ll probably notice that the account has been loaded up with gear from all the countries in the game. This gives you ample ability to experiment. But, if you’re new, which country in War Thunder would be best for you? We’ll look.
USA
Most people recommend that newbies get started with USA, because they have one of the most well-rounded tech trees. There’s a little bit of everything in there, which means you can experiment with all forms of combat. Some of their aircraft and weapons are a little bit ahead of the pack too. However, for the most part, they are quite average across the board. Think ‘Jack of all Trades, Master of None’. They can do everything, but there is no area they really stand out.
Germany
If you’re a fan of ground and aviation combat, particularly early on in the game, then Germany is the route to go down. Much of the gear that Germany has can even one-shot tanks in the game from an early stage, which makes it easier to win your battles.
The downside is that their lower level planes are not that great. You can barely scratch anything with them. However, once you move onto to the bomber aircraft, you’ll be in a great place.
That being said, Germany isn’t really a great place for a newbie to start. Due to the way the scenario system in War Thunder works, you’ll need to have a lot of technological knowledge to win your battles.
USSR
The Soviets are awful at everything, well except tanks. Their tanks may not be the most well-built tanks in the game, but they work exceedingly well. This is thanks to their superior armor.
On the aircraft side of things, the USSR gives you early access to some powerful weaponry that other countries would need to work toward on the tech tree. However, the downside is that once those countries have worked toward it in the tech tree, the USSR becomes pretty awful. This does lead people to wonder whether it is even worth levelling up the aircraft in War Thunder when you’re the USSR. We don’t think it is.
China
China has some good stuff in the tech tree, including some overlaps from some other countries. The downside is that much of it isn’t that good, and China hasn’t been getting a whopping amount of love from the developers. If China gets more love, it will be a well-rounded country, much in the same vein as the USA. However, for now, avoid it.
Sweden
It’s rare to find a nation like Sweden on this list, because they don’t have a huge amount of tech at their disposal. The country is a fan of smaller weaponry. However, it works well in larger battles. Sweden is agile, can drop a couple of bombs and get out of there right away. People get annoyed by Sweden’s versatility. It is worth checking out.
Remember – most of these nations only work after you’ve levelled up the tech tree a bit. For this reason, we highly recommend that you buy War Thunder boosting from u7buy.com. You’ll get off to a great start.
